And just to keep it going for those birds, the goldfinches came back to the thistle buffet after an absence of a week or two. They’re bright yellow, all dressed up in breeding plumage.

Walkin to New Orleans

Going to New Orleans this week to do Habitat for Humanity. A few new photos posted to flickr and picasa. Lots of things are blooming. Goldfinches are gone, a bunch of waxwings just came through, and we should start seeing hummingbirds any day now.
